About

My name is Miss Alisha Hagen. I am a teacher who specializes in fine art and technology. 

I earned my BFA in Animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. My illustration style is very reminiscent of cartoons and animation. I love to tell stories and show a little humor in my own artwork.

I earned my second BFA in Art Education in 2015 at Minnesota State University Moorhead where I found new passions working with sculpture and printmaking. I realized I enjoyed way too many art styles to stick with one and figured teaching would be an excellent outlet to share my many creative skills.

I taught high school art and media art for three years at a small charter school in Northern Minnesota.

I was lucky enough to take a break for a year to focus on making more of my own art in El Paso, Texas where the sun is in abundance and the snow is nonexistent.

As of Fall 2020, I am entering my second year at my dream job teaching elementary art near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
